Disappointment

One of the reasons we don’t leave our comfort zones is the fear that we will be disappointed if things don’t work out.We all have had moments when we did not get the job,,or a friend decided to end the relationship,or the inexpensive vacation turned into something less than the idyllic words in the travel brochure. The feelings that accompany disappointments are stored in our brains, and often remind us to protect ourselves and not risk experiencing them again.

Withdrawing from reasonable risks and building a safe moat around our dreams and hopes is certainly understandable, but it may envelop us in a bland life experience.I do not like to be disappointed ,but I believe that the risk is worth it. On the ledger of life the moments that fulfill us make the disappointments worth it..
