Tommy Mount despite his physical limitations was a joy to be around.He would tease me,play his guitar with vigor ,and enjoy every moment of his life. This was largely because Jeanne did not lower the bar for Tommy’s opportunities,she raised it and supported everything he could do.To me this was par for the course of her life. She had no real control over the circumstances of her children’s illness ,but she chose to treat their lives with as much joy and fulfillment as possible.She modeled as Vikttor Frankl did that no matter how tough the road is you must embrace life ,and love is the constant that gives hope and meaning to every life.Watching Jeanne was like experiencing all of the best qualities in life ,and there is no one that crossed her path who is not a better person because of her.
