What kind of masochist starts scoping out the third part of a Trilogy before the second novel is actually published? Seriously the task of applying for the Berlin fellowship has spawned all sorts of ideas for the third book. Because the ultimate goal is to present a story which enables contemporary Jews and Christians to have a deeper understanding of their common heritage the early split between… them must be defined. Two of the main characters will be Pope Joseph the first who ironically resembles our current Pope Francs and an yet unnamed Biblical scholar who helps us understand that anti-Judaism was a fertile ground for Nazi anti-Semitism. Ironically I wrote about Pope Joseph 1 before Pope Francis appeared on the scene. Pleas send me lots of karma today because I am writing the hardest part of the Proposal.
