It’s a Wonderful Life

Preparing the materials required for the fellowship in Berlin has been like writing an
autobiography. So many times and places that had fallen into the crevices of my brain came bolting out with a clarity that surprised me. In the course of this work many of you appeared because you at some point were or still are connected to my personal and professional life.I could see the faces of students at Trinity High school and the events that occurred at Johnson and Johnson. Over and over often with sharp and wonderful memories the people and places became resonant again. If nothing else the whole process is reminiscent of one of my favorite movies”It’s a Wonderful Life.”I am not George Bailey, but I can certainly say that the revue proves that I have had a “Wonderful Life.”
